Who we are
MagiskManager.com is run by the MagiskManager.com team, an independent team that has published Magisk guides on this site since 2017. We write for people who are rooting a phone for the first time as much as for people who have done it before.
What we publish
- Installation guides: downloading and installing Magisk, unlocking the bootloader, setting up ADB and fastboot, switching to Magisk Beta and uninstalling Magisk.
- Explainers: what root and Magisk are, how Magisk compares with KernelSU and APatch, and answers to common questions.
- Troubleshooting: what to do when a phone won't start, an app doesn't get root, or an update removes Magisk.
How we write and check our guides
- Official sources first. Every guide is based on Magisk's official documentation and release notes, and on the phone makers' own instructions. We link to those sources so you can check them.
- Our own words. We don't copy other sites' text or screenshots. The screenshots in our guides are our own.
- Updated with every release. When a Magisk release changes a step or a button name, we update the guides. Version numbers, file sizes and download links come straight from Magisk's GitHub releases and refresh automatically every hour.
- Safety warnings where they matter. Rooting can erase your data or stop a phone from starting, so the guides say when to back up and how to recover.
- Translations. The guides are written in English and then translated. If you spot a mistake in any language, tell us and we'll fix it.
Downloads
We don't host or modify Magisk. Every download button on this site sends you to the official APK in Magisk's GitHub releases, so you always get the genuine file from its developer.
What we don't publish
Rooting your own phone is legal in most countries, and our guides are only about phones you own. We don't publish:
- Ways to get around the security or integrity checks of other apps, such as banking or payment apps.
- Ways to bypass copy protection (DRM), or modified ("cracked") apps and games.
- Ways to access a phone that isn't yours.
How the site is funded
MagiskManager.com is free to read. It's paid for by ads served by Google AdSense. Advertisers don't influence what we write, and we keep ads away from download buttons so they can't be mistaken for them. Our privacy policy explains the cookies that ads and analytics use.
